Final death knell for Nord Stream 2: Firm goes bankrupt after crushing Russia sanctions

THE COMPANY established to construct the Nord Stream 2 pipeline from Russia directly to Germany has filed for bankruptcy, after both Germany and the European Union cancelled the project as part of a raft of sanctions against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
